iWatch: Healthcare Disappointment?

In a recent article published by Forbes Magazine, business strategy advisor Chunka Mui wonders what happened to all of the "game-changing" healthcare features which Apple once promised? Although there will be the connection to the HealthKit app, the recent Apple Keynote which featured the iWatch was relatively hush in terms of health benefits promised by the new device. Once expected to be a glucose monitor/blood pressure monitor/other medical device killer all-in-one, the presentation focused on the aesthetics of the device.

So although it may be too early to say that the Apple watch is a total failure in terms of its application to health care, it is safe to assume that there is a way to go before the iWatch becomes the wearable device killer that it was originally touted to be. Your move, Tim Cook.
